We haven’t heard from Dingo BMX in a long, long time, so when this domain name came by we decided to throw it back up in case anyone was having the same problem that we were having. You see, Dingo BMX frames were (are?) among the very best racing frames in the world, and we’d hate to think that the company’s no-nonsense dedication to quality caused their downfall….while so many lesser choices continue to flourish.
Anyway, we’re re-posting as much of the original Dingo BMX site as we can find, in the hopes that someone will have an update on the status of the company, or at the very least the destinations of the people responsible for making such a high-quality product.
Before I continue with Dingo BMX content, I just want to do a shout out about this great bottled water my girlfriend just introduced me to. She’s always nagging me about not drinking enough water, so I finally capitulated to her pleas and found an online site for a local spring water company in Las Vegas called Tahoe Springs who makes water delivery runs right to your door. They offer two types of water; purified or spring. For those folks who prefer pure water with a lower mineral content, they guarantee a crisp, delicious water that is purified through an exhaustive seven-stage process that includes, not only reverse osmosis, macro and micro filtration, active carbon filtration, but also ozonization and ultra-violet light. For those who prefer spring water with its natural minerals, Tahoe Springs states that their spring water revitalizes the body with minerals and is naturally sodium-free. I’ve tried both but prefer the mountain spring water. If you live in the Las Vegas area, you should check them out.
The Dingo BMX page at BMX Museum (bmxmuseum.com/bikes/dingo/) has a number of great examples of the company in its heyday.
“Here at Dingo BMX we build BMX Racing frames for BMX Racers. If that sounds redundant, it shouldn’t. We Race……….A lot. If you’d rather ride a frame from a company that spends more money on their freestyle line than on their racing bikes, then we’re probably not the company you’re looking for. On the other hand if you want a race frame that is designed for all out BMX racing you’ve come to the right place. We’ve been involved in the sport of BMX since 1979, and in that time we’ve seen plenty of fads come and go. All Dingo BMX frames are designed and race tested with the input of our Factory Team riders, and not pulled out of a catalog of some overseas factory. So look around the site and see what you think. Click on the “News” button for the latest info on Dingo BMX, or stop by the Dingo/BMXStatz.com Factory Team tent at a Florida State Qualifier or National Race and say hi. We are always looking for input from riders on how to improve the Dingo BMX line.”
